David's wife Christine has many years experience in the Cosmetic and Beauty industry's. Spa Hotels 4u mission is to offer discerning holiday makers a superb range of carefully selected luxury spa hotels and spa resorts. | Quality controlling the Spa Hotels |  | The team at Spa Hotels 4u visit each Spa Hotel to ensure that the spa hotel meets our high standards. In the photograph members of our team are inspecting the balcony of a suite at one of the Mare Nostrum hotels in Tenerife.
We try to visit the spa hotels as often as possible to keep up to date with developments, especially refurbishments and changes to the range of spa treatments on offer.

| The locale is as important as the spa hotel itself | When deciding whether we wish to add a particular spa hotel to our directory - we do not just consider the hotel itself. We look beyond the hotel, what is there for our visitors to enjoy around about. Beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We consider the spa hotel's locale a vital ingredient to making a good spa weekend break, a great and memorable spa weekend break experience.

| Health Spa or no Health Spa
One of the dilemma's that faced the Spa Hotels 4u team was does Hotel XYZ really have a spa? The Oxford Dictionary says a "spa" is a curative mineral spring - or a place or resort with a curative mineral spring. We decided that the key word is curative.
Therefore, we have rejected hotels that claim to be a spa, but which only have; indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and perhaps a gym.
Instead we have opted in favour of Spas which have those assets, but which also offer a range of spa treatments and spa treatment packages designed to; improve your health, or your well-being, or your fitness, or your appearance. Many of the spas that we feature are targeting those wanting to be pampered, however we also recognise that some clients may have a clinical need and therefore need medical supervision - some of the spas that we feature have qualified medical staff and we would be happy to advise which of those may be appropriate to cater for your specific needs. |

Spa Breaks are in our opinion a great way to experience a spa hotel. Spend a weekend or a few days during the week relaxing in a wonderful spa hotel. |
